HEAVY TRAFFIC

Heavy Traffic is a ongoing photographic series that represents the inner-city life of Chicago— mainly in my neighborhood Little Village. Through documentation of painted pieces, and encounters with local people, I connect with the community around me. Simply living my routine life with my camera always at hand, I am able to capture sacred, intimate moments of my world. In this body of work I strive to highlight this ongoing lifestyle and be an authentic storyteller on behalf of my people and my neighborhood.
